How much are your fees?
We have ZERO fees! Yes, that's right. There are no fees. You pay a flat rate for your five listings and that is all. Every enquiry that comes to you through the site comes with no strings attached.

Is there a messaging system for communicating with potential customers?
No, we don’t have a message system. Enquiries will be sent directly to the email address you provided when you created your account. What you say in your reply to them is entirely up to you.

What information do you store when a customer contacts us via you site?
We keep track of the numbers of emails that have been sent to each provider. This allows us to work for you at our end to get you as many enquires to your business as possible.

What do I get for my yearly subscription?
1-year of access to the Cycling Holidays Europe platform.
5 listings, which you can use for any combination of accommodations (rooms, rental properties), cycle tours, or cycling holidays from a fixed base. Select flexible or fixed dates. Use these to showcase your offerings or to schedule a set holiday or event.

When & how do I pay?
Simply create a Provider account and create your first listing(s). Once your provider information and your first listing has been submitted and verified by our team, we will contact you for payment.
Payment processing will be fully-automated in the near future.

My business only offers one accommodation. How can I fill my five listings?
We allow you to list that same accommodation (or holiday) five times, providing that the descriptions and pictures are different.
You may offer bed and breakfast and self-catering options at your accommodation with different prices, terms, and lists of facilities. You could create separate listings for your self-catered and B&B packages and would therefore have two listings on the site, each targeting a different market. We promote each listing individually so it makes sense for you to use your listings to create a diverse list that represents the different areas of business
We do recommend you use your five listings as then you will be on an equal footing in terms of exposure on the site as those who also make the full use of their five listings.

Which listing type should I use?
We currently offer three listing types but more will be added in the future. These are 'cyclist friendly accommodations', 'fixed base holidays', and 'tour holidays'.
You offer Cycle-friendly accommodation if:
- You provide some of the services that a weary cyclist or group of cyclists will be looking for. This might include: Proximity to long distance trails or cycling events.
- You have cyclist-specific facilities, such as secure bike storage, bike hire, route planning, GPS hire, and so on.
- Or you might just have a really great place that cyclists love because you’re close to major climbs, great trails, or a really nice place for families to spend a car-free week.
You offer Fixed-based holidays if part of your offering includes:
- Part of your offering includes accommodation (which you may or not own) and your riders return to the same premises each day.
You offer Tour holidays if part of your offering includes:
- More than one accommodation (which you may or not own) and your riders stay at different premises throughout the period of the tour. They may start or finish in a different country or be expected to make the return journey from a different airport than the one they arrived from. They may or may not include luggage transfers (select this option - or not). Tours can also be listed as Guided or Self-Guided. You can list this one way or the other with a comment that the tour can also be guided, or create separate listings.

Do I have to set dates to advertise a holiday or tour?
No, you don’t.
We know that many cycling holiday businesses have a few holidays that they can adapt depending on the requirements of the rider or group of riders. If this is you you can set up your holiday using the Flexible Dates option. This gives you the ability to create separate listings for examples of the kinds of holidays you can provide.
If you have fixed dates in mind and are looking to put bums on seats, then go ahead and put those in the listing. Remember, the idea is to get people to contact you. Set up your holiday listings in the way that makes the most sense to you.

I offer fully-catered and self-catered accommodation option. Do I set these up as one accommodation?
If you have a listing to spare from your total of five it makes sense to create separate listings for your fully- or self-catered accommodation options.
This is because they will most likely have different price brackets and may also impact the range of facilities that are included. Our advice is to create two listings.
Likewise if you offer single rooms or a family suite or separate gite you could create separate listings for those. Or multiple gites. Or properties (rooms or gites) in different locations: your listings do not have to be for the same country.

Do you provide support for paying providers?
Yes we do. Our aim is to build a sustainable network of like-minded cycling businesses. We want to work with you to ensure you get the most out of the platform. To help with this we share information with you via our private Facebook Group and also encourage interaction between everyone in the network. If there's something in particular you would like to know or need help with, just contact us.

Where do you advertise?
As soon as we have 50 listings we will start to advertise on Facebook and Google Ads. We are also talking to established media networks about advertising and promotion.
We also promote our site through creating quality backlinks on high-value sites. We absolutely do not believe in "black hat" SEO - which can damage the reputation of a site and hence our business.
Can I list my Gite or B&B business?
Yes, of course. If you are welcoming to cyclists, go ahead!
