Grade 3: Difficult: for the regular cyclist looking for a rides that won't break the legs but will make you work. MTB Grading: Blue

Grade 4: Hard: For regular, experienced cyclists. Typically routes of a longer distance or some tough climbs (and descents) included. MTB Grading: Red

Grade 5: Very Hard: Rides not for the faint-hearted that include very hard climbs and longer distances. Think days in the mountains, big climbs and descents. MTB Grading: Black

Holiday Highlights

Set in the heart of the French Pyrenees, Bagneres de Luchon is nestled in some of the Tour de France climb highlights. Port des Bales, Peyresourde, Superbagneres, Hospice de France and Portillon are on our doorstep and many others accessible on a day trip.

We can also provide one way transfers if you wanted to tackle some of the cols (including the imposing Tourmalet) a little further away.

Enjoy the best of these climbs with one of our knowledgeable English and/or French speaking ride leaders.

Holiday Itinerary

Our ride leader will be there with you on 5 days out of your 7 day holiday. There will be a briefing on your first night and the outline of your bespoke itinerary.

Your days may include the challenging Port de Bales loop, a trip into Spain over the Col du Portillon and tapas for lunch or tackling 18km of twists and turns up to Superbagneres and a cheeky add on to the Hospice de France (one of the steepest climbs in the valley).

After a day in the saddle there will always be recovery afternoon tea and a hearty 3 course meal fit for the hardiest cyclist.

Description of Accommodation

A traditional house located in the centre of town, each of our standard en suite bedrooms can be arranged as super-king beds or twins. We also have 2 family/friends sharing suites with 4 or 5 beds.

We have a large guest lounge, spacious dining room and a games/cinema room as well as a garden for you to relax in after a day in the saddle.
