Saturday: Morning briefing over breakfast. The 'house climb', Montsegur - a cat 3 climb to assess ability, and on to rolling hills and optional Cat 1 climb up to Mont d'Olmes Ski Resort. Between 1200 - 2000m of climbing. An afternoon of relaxing by the pool and refuelling before the evening meal.

Sunday: Daily briefing and on to the big day - up and over the epic and uncategorised Col du Pailheres with the wild horses and stunning switch backs. A day of 3 cols, beautiful scenery, tarmac, climbs and descents. Over 200m of climbing, mostly downhill for the last 30k, back to the village for relaxing and recuperation.
